As a strong advocate for its members, AmCham Okinawa engages with the Okinawa prefectural government and U.S. authorities to raise key issues and concerns affecting the business community. By gathering and analyzing policy information, the Chamber actively promotes trade and investment between the U.S. and Okinawa. Through its specialized subcommittees and member consultations, AmCham identifies critical challenges impacting trade and operations on the island. The Chamber then collaborates with members to develop white papers and strategic communications, presenting well-informed policy recommendations to government officials aimed at fostering sustainable economic growth and enhancing business opportunities for both American and Okinawan enterprises.
