Committees

Committees are a vital part of the American Chamber of Commerce in Okinawa, serving as the driving force behind many of the Chamber’s initiatives. Meeting regularly, committees lead the planning of events, development of advocacy efforts, and exchange of key business information. They offer members the opportunity to shape AmCham’s agenda on issues that impact their industries, while representing the interests of Okinawa’s diverse and dynamic business community.

All AmCham members in good standing are welcome to join a committee. If you're interested in getting involved, please speak with a committee member, contact the Chamber staff, or email us at eaa@amchamokinawa.org.

Special Events

The Special Events Committee plans and coordinates the Chamber’s major annual events, including the Shinnenkai and the President’s Ball, which bring together all facets of the business community in a vibrant, social setting. The committee offers members a hands-on opportunity to contribute to the success of these signature gatherings, strengthening connections, enhancing the Chamber experience, and having fun along the way.
